There is a special training class for emergency response for decontamination training at the Surry fire station Monday February 28th at 6:30 PM. (about three hours)
We are inviting any women who would agree to be a part of the training to attend. (Not as victims but as staff)
Should there be a 'event', Surry could be asked to provide personnel to assist Keene in the operation of their decontamination facility, there is a need for female attendants to help with the feminine population. The current structure of the fire service tends to be a male population, and this makes the personal aspect of decontamination difficult.
Any one interested in learning more can contact a member of the fire dept or engineer for more details. Or just show up the 28th at 6:30 PM at the fire station.
