Our highway department continues to improve our town maintained
road network, with current projects for 2001 including the finalizing
of Old Walpole Rd. and the most deteriorated section of Surry Dam Rd.
Due to the poor condition of both areas, complete rebuilding was
required, limiting the amount of road work we could accomplish on
this year's budget allocation.
