December 1, 2008 the library will be closing at 7:30p.m. Monday and Thursday evening through March 31, 2009. We will open at 2:00p.m.
If there is any interest in having the library open for two hours Saturday morning, please let me know. We are also open to any other suggestions.

December 22nd RIF will be holding a holiday fun night at the library, from 6 - 7. There will be games and crafts. Each child will receive a new free book.
We have Twilight for those who want to read the story before seeing the movie. We also have New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer.

The Reed Free Library has over 9000 books in its current collection
consisting of both adult and juvenile fiction and non-fiction as well
as several magazines.
The Library now has an iMAC computer with a printer and a scanner
for use by Library Patrons. The computer is provided for library
related learning, research, and information. All users must sign the
Computer Access Policy and/or the Internet Access Policy and must also
sign the logbook for the time they are using the computer.
Patrons under 18 years of age, must also have on file, a Policy
signed by a parent or legal guardian. All computer users must also have
a library card from the Reed Free Library or, for non-residents,
permission from the Librarian.
