Surry Recreation Committee

The Surry Recreation Committee had a busy year in 2000. We hope you enjoyed the events as much as we enjoyed putting them on.

2000's events included:
Old Home Days, the Apply Pie Festival, and the Children's Halloween Party. Upcoming events for the year 2001 are still being planned. Those already on the calendar are the Children's School Vacation Fun Afternoon at town hall, Surry Appreciation Dinner, Easter Egg Hunt, Old Home Days, the Apple Pie Festival, and the Children's Halloween Party.

For those interested, there is a suggestion box at the town hall, as we are always open to new ideas.

We would like to thank everyone for volunteering their time for these events. As we all know, without volunteers, these events would not be possible. As well, anyone wishing to contribute time or resources for any event is always welcome. Please contact me for further information.

We look forward to seeing everyone at this year's events.
